Euromoney recognises HSBC Private Bank’s continued strong global performance

The 2010 Euromoney Private Banking Survey results, published online on Monday, 08 February, clearly highlight the continued strength of HSBC Private Bank’s reputation.

Last year’s key number 1 positions were maintained - in fact HSBC Private Bank were the only private bank to be number 1 in two major regions.

The key highlights are:

Number 1 in Asia
Number 1 in the Middle East
Number 1 for Islamic banking services

HSBC Private Bank ranks number 2 globally for "best private banking services overall" for a second year. This is not only a testament to our overall strength but also highlights our major strengths in emerging markets.

HSBC Private Bank also made progress compared to 2009 by achieving the first place rankings in key categories:

Number 1 for High Net Worth (US$1–10million)
Number 1 for Relationship Management
Number 1 for Trust Services
